In January 1990, David Creech joined with Tom Harris to form the firm now known as Harris, Creech, Ward and Blackerby, P.A. Mr. Creech brought with him extensive experience in defending health care malpractice allegations, as well as professional liability defense and personal injury claims. Today, he routinely represents defendants in both state and federal court, and is regularly called upon to arbitrate and mediate disputes.
A North Carolina native, Mr. Creech earned his Juris Doctor with honors at the University of North Carolina in 1988 where he was an editor of the North Carolina Law Review. Mr. Creech is listed in Business North Carolina magazine as "Legal Elite" and Law & Politics magazine as "Super Lawyer". He is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, is listed in "Best Lawyers in America," and is a member of the Federation of Corporate and Defense Counsel. David Creech has published analyses of legal precedents and trends, and he is often engaged to address professional workshops and seminars on areas of his expertise. He is an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer.
